Perkins goes to Dogs
Elizabeth Perkins has joined the cast of the romantic comedy Must Love Dogs. She'll replace Kyra Sedgwick, who dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Gary David Goldberg is directing Diane Lane in the lead role from his own screenplay. Perkins will be playing Lane's sister.

Male leads Must Love Dogs
John Cusack and Dermot Mulroney have signed on for lead roles opposite Diane Lane and Kyra Sedgwick in the Warner Bros. rom-com Must Love Dogs. In addition, Christopher Plummer and Stockard Channing will play the parents of Lane and Sedgwick's characters. Gary David Goldberg is directing from his own screenplay.
The story centers around a divorcee (Lane) who decides to swear off men after another disastrous romantic experience. Her Irish-American family enrolls her in a number of online dating programs in an attempt to kick-start her love life.

Sedgwick Must Love Dogs
Kyra Sedgwick has signed to star alongside Diane Lane in Warner Bros.' Must Love Dogs. She'll play Lane's sister in the film, which is being directed by Gary David Goldberg from his own screenplay. The movie centers around an Irish-American divorcee whose family enrolls her in a number of online dating programs when she decides to give up on men.
