It's Reese Witherspoon's world and we are just living in it. As if seeking to prove her talents, the glamorous southern bell has added animal telepathy to her resume. At least, that is the premise of her next production, Sammy.
The premise is that Witherspoon's fledgling Dr. Dolittle is not the only person claiming to have special talents. She is surprised to discover that a man she has recently meant believes he can do the same thing...except he communicates with the dead. Perhaps oddest of all, I would now like to point out that the film is apparently a romantic comedy. Nothing says sweeping romance like crazy, I guess. (David Mumpower/BOP)
