Hallstrom Understands Sammy

Lasse Hallstrom (The Cider House Rules; Chocolat) will direct romantic comedy Sammy for Columbia Pictures. Delia Ephron (You've Got Mail; The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) wrote the screenplay, about a woman who can understand what animals are thinking. She meets a man who claims the same thing, but about dead people.
