Miramax, Scott Rudin buy novel rights

Miramax and producer Scott Rudin bought the rights to The Believers, a novel by Zoe Heller released this week by Harper. To be adapted by Patrick Marber (Notes on a Scandal), the book is a character study of a dysfunctional New York-based family.
