Warner Bros. plans to bring franchise back
Warner Bros., along with top-tier production banners, are in the planning stages to bring The NeverEnding Story back to the big screen. The studio recently acquired rights to the property, and wants to revive the 25-year-old franchise with a modern spin. The new project will examine details of the book that were glossed over in the franchise opener.
