Writer-director holds open call for music
Rick Bieber, writer-director of sports-themed The 5th Quarter, is holding an Internet-based search for original songs to be inserted in the project's soundtrack. The movie tells the true story of Wake Forest middle linebacker Jon Abbate, who helped lead his college to 11 wins in 2006 after his younger brother, Luke, died in a car crash. The 5th Quarter stars Aidan Quinn, Andie MacDowell and Ryan Merriman.
