Dark Knight producer to develop political thriller
Charles Roven, the producer behind The Dark Knight, will develop Damascus Gate with frequent collaborator Richard Suckle. The project, set up at Columbia, is a political thriller about a journalist and a group of extremists in Jerusalem. Eric Warren Singer (The International) will pen the screenplay, based on the 1998 novel by Robert Stone.
