John Carpenter heads into a mental institution

Horror legend John Carpenter will direct The Ward, a psychological thriller starring Amber Heard. Penned by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen, the project is about a young woman's disturbing experiences inside a mental institution terrorized by a ghost. Shooting is scheduled to commence in May.
