Summit goes with Spanish helmer
Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona will helm Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight franchise. In related news, Summit Entertainment recently gave Eclipse a release date of June 30th, 2010.

Third Twilight film to bow summer 2010
Summit Entertainment set the third entry in the Twilight series, Eclipse, for release on June 30, 2010. this marks the franchise's first time in the summer frame. Twilight original run in theaters began on November 21, 2008. It's sequel is due out November 20th of this year.

Summit gets working on sequels to Twilight
Summit Entertainment is moving forward with future installments of the Twilight saga. Scribe Melissa Rosenberg, who adapted the first book, Twilight, will do the same for New Moon and Eclipse. The fourth and final book, Breaking Dawn, has not attached a writer yet. Twilight is set to hit theaters on Nov. 21.
