Estevez applies for a library card
Emilio Estevez's follow up to 2006's Bobby, which he wrote and directed, will be The Public, a social drama set in a public library. The story, which he wrote and is slated to direct, is based on a Los Angeles Times article that discussed how libraries have transformed into shelters for the homeless in light of social programming cuts.
