Sony snags Lebovitz thriller
Sony picked up North American rights to Tortured, a thriller starring Laurence Fishburne and Cole Hauser. The film, from writer-director Nolan Lebovitz, is set in a world of organized crime. It also stars James Cromwell, James Denton, Jon Cryer and Emmanuelle Chriqui.

Cryer and Denton are Tortured
Jon Cryer and James Denton have joined the cast of Tortured. Nolan Lebovitz directs the psychological thriller, which stars Cole Hauser as an FBI agent who goes undercover as an enforcer in organized crime. When ordered to torture an accountant (Laurence Fishburne) for a week, he starts to question his duties. Cryer and Denton will both play fellow FBI operatives.

Fishburne and Hauser are Tortured
Laurence Fishburne and Cole Hauser are set to star in the crime thriller Tortured. Nolan Lebovitz is directing the film from his own screenplay. The movie will follow an FBI agent who goes undercover as he infiltrates the world's most powerful crime syndicate. He is able to reach their innermost level of members and is assigned to torture one of the group's accountants, who will be played by Fishburne.
