A Mighty Heart scribe to write Ian Fleming biopic
John Orloff (A Mighty Heart) will pen the screenplay for Fleming, a biopic about the creator of James Bond, Ian Fleming. Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way is producing the project at Warner Bros., which takes a look at critical moments during the author and journalist's life.

Fleming's life ready for big screen
As rumors flew through the industry that Daniel Craig has been officially offered the role of James Bond from Sony, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that it will be creating a movie based on the life of 007's creator, Ian Fleming. The movie will be titled Fleming and will examine the author's life and how his own womanizing and association with spying enabled him to write the Bond series of books. His first book was Casino Royale in 1953, which will also be the next film in the Bond series.
