Coelho taking Eleven Minutes
Marcos Bernstein will adapt the Paulo Coelho book Eleven Minutes for New Line Cinema. The movie follows a Brazilian woman who goes to Switzerland to find her fortune. Once there, she is only able to really find work in a gentleman's club. What follows is a journey of both romantic and sexual self-discovery.

New Line ready for Eleven Minutes
New Line Cinema has acquired the rights to the Paolo Coelho novel Eleven Minutes and is set to adapt it into a motion picture. The title of the book refers to the duration of a sexual act. The story itself details the sexual awakening of a Brazilian woman who heads to Geneva amidst aspirations of being a dancer. Once she finally returns home, she has become jaded by her employment as a high-priced prostitute. The book was published in 2003 and has sold more than 5.5 million copies in 40 languages.
