Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachael Taylor and David Wenhem joined the voice cast of director Zack Snyder's Guardian of Ga'Hoole. The project, which centers on a parallel universe with owls, is currently shooting in Australia.

WB Gets Guardians
Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to the children's fantasy book series Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Kathryn Lansky wrote the books, and will adapt them as movies for a potential franchise for the studio. She'll also executive produce. The seven-book series centers on a parallel universe with owls as its central characters. The first book starts with a young barn owl being pushed out of his nest by an older brother. He is rescued by agents who represent a mysterious school for orphaned owls.
