Bigalow moves to summer
Columbia pictures has shifted Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo from its originally planned release date of April to an August 12, 2005 start. The studio says that the move was made because the August frame is much more comedy-friendly. The original film was released on December 10, 1999 and made $65 million in North America. That film was released by Disney, which passed on the sequel due to its R-rated content.
