Cast signs for Ghost Rider
Donal Logue has joined the cast of Ghost Rider, the action adventure based on the Marvel Comics property about Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who saves the world from evil spirits from the netherworld. Logue will portray Johnny's chief mechanic and best friend, Mack, who works on the motorcycles for stunts. Also in talks to join the cast is Peter Fonda, who would play Mephistopheles. The cast includes Nicolas Cage in the title role, Wes Bentley, Eva Mendes, Matt Long and Sam Elliott. Mark Steven Johnson is directing.

Stars lined up for Ghost Rider
A number of cast members have signed on for Ghost Rider, the adaptation of the comic book character. Matt Long, who plays Jack on the WB's Jack & Bobby, would play the younger version of the title character. Nicolas Cage has the primary role of the grown-up Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider. Eva Mendes will play Blaze's true love, while American Beauty's Wes Bentley will portray the villain. Sam Elliott also stars. Mark Steven Johnson will direct from a screenplay which he wrote.
