Megan Mullally, Kelsey Grammer, Charles S. Dutton, Bebe Neuwirth and Debbie Allen filled out the administrative and teaching roles in MGM's Fame remake. The $25 million project already has a Sept. 25, 2009 release date.

Remake bulks up its casting bill
Nine actors joined the cast of the remake to fame. The ensemble includes Kristy Flores, Paul Iacono, Paul McGill, Naturi Naughton, Kay Panabaker, Kherington Payne, Collins Pennie, Walter Perez and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle. Thomas Dekker also is in talks to nab one of the remaining lead spots.
