Nicolas Cage Kicks some Ass
Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson and Lyndsy Fonseca joined the cast of Kick-Ass, an adaptation of a violent comic book by Mark Millar. A fall Toronto shoot is planned.

Matthew Vaughn to direct Ass adaptation
Matthew Vaughn will direct from his own script in Kick-Ass, an adaptation of a Mark Millar comic. The story follows a high schooler who tranforms into a real-world superhero named Kick-Ass who seems destined for failure because of his lack of athleticism. His prospects change, however, when he runs into real bad guys with very real weapons. Chloe Moretz has been cast in the film, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse is in talks.
