Quartet join roller derby squad
Marcia Gay Harden, Kristen Wiig, Juliette Lewis and Zoe Bell joined the cast of Whip It!, a comedy about life within the roller derby ring that already stars Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page. In the film, which also marks Barrymore's directorial debut, Harden plays an ex-beauty queen who wants her daughter, Bliss (Page), in pageants, not skates. SNL's Wiig plays Bliss' mentor and Lewis and Bell both will portray roller derby stars. Production begins this summer in Michigan and Texas.
