Anna Kendrick, who landed a small role in Summit Entertainment's Twilight, will play opposite George Clooney in Paramount's Up in the Air. A bevy of young actresses read for the part, including Ellen Page and Emily Blunt. The project comes from writer-director Jason Reitman.

Jason Reitman kicks it Up a notch
Juno director Jason Reitman will adapt Up in the Air, a 2002 novel by Thumbsucker scribe Walter Kirn. The story is a satire of corporate culture, focusing on a man whose ultimate goal is to assume 1 million frequent flier miles while trying to land a job at MythTech, a mysterious management company. At this point, Reitman is only writing the screenplay, not directing as well.
