Kerr Smith to celebrate Valentine's Day
CSI's Kerr Smith will star alongside Jamie King and Jenson Ackles in My Bloody Valentine 3-D, due in theaters on Jan. 23, 2009. The film, a remake of a 1981 slasher from helmer Patrick Lussier, is about a murderer who kills people who celebrate Valentine's Day.

Supernatural star nabs his Valentine
Jensen Ackles (CW's Supernatural) is in final talks to join Jaime King in My Bloody Valentine 3-D, helmer Patrick Lussier's update of the classic 1981 slasher. In it, Ackles would play Tom, a man who returns to his home in Montana ten years after close to two dozen people were murdered there on Valentine's Day. While at home, Tom finds he is still in love with a former flame (King), while also a murder suspect.

King gives her heart to slasher remake
Jaime King (Sin City) will star in My Bloody Valentine 3-D, a Lionsgate update of the 1981 slasher film about a murderer to kills celebrants of February's famed holiday. In the film, King will play Sarah Palmer, a woman who marries the nemesis of her teenage sweetheart. When the lovebirds are reunited, however, it becomes evident that she's still has feelings for her first love. Production is expected to begin May 12 and a Jan. 23, 2009 release date is planned.
