Shopaholic rounds out its casting
Five more joined the cast of Confessions of a Shopaholic. John Lithgow, Kristin Scott Thomas, Leslie Bibb, Lynn Redgrave and Julie Hagerty all landed roles in the film, which already stars Isla Fisher as a woman who must navigate the New York magazine world in the wake of rising credit card debt. Lithgow will be a publishing magnate, Thomas a magazine editor, Bibb a worker within the fashion magazine industry, Redgrave a worker within the publishing industry and Hagerty a business magazine assistant. Production is already underway in New York and Connecticut.

Cusack and Goodman partner up in Shopaholic adaptation
Joan Cusack (Friends With Money) and John Goodman (Bee Movie) joined the cast of Confessions of a Shopaholic, a P.J. Hogan-directed adaptation of the bestselling novel by Sophie Kinsella. The film is about a woman (Isla Fisher) who must navigate the New York magazine world in the wake of rising credit card debt. Cusack and Goodman will play the woman's parents.
