Three more join Allen comedy
Jeanne Tripplehorn (HBO's Big Love), Sigourney Weaver (Vantage Point) and J.K. Simmons (Juno) joined the cast of Crazy on the Outside, a comedy that marking the directorial debut of Tim Allen. In the film, Allen plays an ex-con who tries to persuade his parole officer (Tripplehorn) to date him. Weaver will play Allen's sister, and Simmons will be Weaver's husband. Ray Liotta, Kelsey Grammer and Julie Bowen also star in the film.

Allen to spend time in the director chair
Former Home Improvement star Tim Allen will direct Crazy on the Outside, an adult indie comedy that he is also attached to star in. Written by Judd Pilot and John Peaslee (ABC's According to Jim), the story is about an ex-con who finds life outside of jail to be even crazier than when he was in prison. Ray Liotta, Carrie-Anne Moss, Julie Bowen and Kelsey Grammer are in negotiations to star.
