WWE, Fox Atomic partner up for 12 Rounds
World Wrestling Entertainment and Fox Atomic are teaming up to produce 12 Rounds, an action film from director Renny Harlin (The Cleaner). Starring pro wrestler John Cena, the film is about a New Orleans police detective (Cena) whose girlfriend is kidnapped. Also starring Steve Harris, Aidan Gillen and Brian White, the $20 million pic is expected to begin production later this month.
