Patric, Dekker are Keepers
Jason Patric (In the Valley of Elah) and Thomas Dekker (Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) joined the cast of My Sister's Keeper, a Jeremy Leven-penned adaptation of the popular novel by Jodi Picoult. The story is about a husband and wife (Patric and Cameron Diaz) who are sued for emancipation by their young daughter (Abigail Breslin). Dekker will play the boyfriend to the older sister of Breslin's character. Alec Baldwin and Joan Cusack also star.

Breslin, Vassilieva to portray sisters
Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) will replace Elle Fanning and Sofia Vassilieva (NBC's Medium) is in final talks to replace Dakota Fanning in My Sister's Keeper, a Jeremy Leven-penned adaptation of the popular novel by Jodi Picoult. Breslin will play a young girl who sues her parents (Cameron Diaz and Alec Baldwin) for conceiving her in order to later donate one of her kidneys to her ill older sister. To be directed by Nick Cassavetes (Alpha Dog), the film is expected to begin production in March.
