Lohman has new company in Hell

Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield), Lorna Raver (The Young and the Restless) and David Paymer (Ocean's Thirteen) are joining Alison Lohman in hell. The trio all signed up for parts in Drag Me to Hell, writer-director Sam Raimi's return to horror. In the film, in which Lohman stars as a woman inflicted with a supernatural curse, Lucas will play her best friend, Paymer her hoss and Raver will be the woman responsible for casting the curse. Production begins Monday in L.A.

Lohman replaces Page in Hell

Ellen Page's successor in director Sam Raimi's return to horror, Drag Me to Hell, will be Alison Lohman, who voiced a role in 2007's Beowulf. In the film, Lohman will play a woman who becomes the recipient of a supernatural curse. Production begins March 31 in Los Angeles.

Page out of Hell

Turns out Juno's Ellen Page won't be spending some time in hell. The actress is no longer attached to star in Drag Me to Hell, director Sam Raimi's return to the horror genre. Production on the film was pushed back, which conflicted with two other projects Page already committed to.

Juno star added to horror film cast

Ellen Page (Juno) will next star in Drag Me to Hell, a horror film from Spider-Man 3-helmer Sam Raimi. It is co-written by Raimi and his brother Ivan, and is expected to begin production on March 17.
