Bonnie Somerville picks up 2 projects
Cashmere Mafia's Bonnie Somerville booked roles in a pair of comedies. In The Ugly Truth, Somerville will play the sister-in-law of Gerard Butler's character. And in the indie black comedy, Nobody, Somerville will play a pretentious member of a self-centered group of art students, which the film revolves around.

Hines nabs co-anchor role
Cheryl Hines (HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm) joined the cast of The Ugly Truth, a romantic comedy already starring Katherine Heigl (ABC's Grey's Anatomy) and Gerard Butler (P.S. I Love You). In it, Hines will play the perfectly coiffed co-anchor to the morning show Heigl produces.

Grey's star gets Ugly
Katherine Heigl (Grey's Anatomy) is taking a break from the hospital to topline in The Ugly Truth, a romantic comedy to be directed by Robert Luketic (Legally Blonde). In it, Heigl will play a news producer who gets the guy of her dreams after being forced to hire an obnoxious relationship expert for her show. Karen McCullah Lutz and Kristen Smith, who partnered with Luketic on Legally Blonde, worked on the script. The film is expected to begin April 15.
