Child star turns to prostitution

Keshia Knight Pulliam, all grown up from her Little Rudy years on NBC's The Cosby Show, will star opposite Tyler Perry as an imprisoned prostitute in Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail. The story, based on Perry's play, is about Madea (Perry), whose trouble-making lands her in jail. There, she comes to the rescue of Candy (Pulliam), who is prayed upon by a larger woman behind bars. Derek Luke, Tamela Mann and David Mann also star.

Lionsgate teams up with Perry

Tyler Perry's next two films, The Family That Preys Together and Madea Goes to Jail, belong to Lionsgate. The projects, both written by Perry, will be the sixth and seventh films teaming Perry with Lionsgate. Perry will also direct and star in both pictures.
