Dreamworks adds talent to 3-D adventure

Five actors signed up to lend their voices to How to Train Your Dragon, Dreamworks' animated 3-D flick to be released in 2010. Gerard Butler, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel and Christopher Mintz-Plasse all landed roles in the film, about a teenage Viking who must capture a wild dragon. To be directed by Peter Hastings (The Country Bears), the story is based on the book by Cressida Cowell.

DreamWorks pushes Dragon to 2010

DreamWorks will delay the release of its 3-D feature How to Train Your Dragon from Nov. 20, 2009 to March 26, 2010. The studio said it wanted to avoid being sandwiched between two other 3-D offerings in the time frame: A Christmas Carol and Avatar.
