Sarandon and Tucker Join Haggic Pic

Susan Sarandon and Jonathan Tucker (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre; Pulse) will join the cast of In the Valley of Elah, director Paul Haggis' next picture after his award-winning Crash. Already in the cast of the Warner Independent film are Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron. The mystery thriller is based an article by Mark Boal in Playboy, "Death and Dishonor," about the true story of a man's quest to uncover more information about the Army's claim that his son went AWOL. He would discover a murder. Haggis then fictionalized the story, which is known as "the untitled Paul Haggis project" at Warner since the title may change.
