Craven's First to be Remade

It worked for The Hills Have Eyes, and now Rogue Pictures is hoping it will work for The Last House on the Left. Rogue will remake the 1972 horror film, which was director Wes Craven's first movie. The story is about a pair of adventuous teenage girls who are kidnapped, raped, and then murdered by a gang of thugs in a vicious attack. The killers end up at the home of one of the girl's parents, who enact some nasty revenge after learning what happened. Craven will co-produce the remake and he says that several more of his films, including Shocker and People Under the Stairs, are also possibilities to be remade.
