About a Bean
Steve Bendelack will direct and Rowan Atkinson will star in Bean II, a sequel to 1997's Bean. It will once again follow the adventures of klutzy and error-prone Mr. Bean. The screenplay was written by Robin Driscoll and Hamish McColl, based on a story by Simon McBurney. Distribution will be handled by Universal Pictures. The original Bean film was very popular internationally, especially in Britain.
