Morton has Control
Samantha Morton is in talks to star in Control, a movie about the last years in the life of Joy Division front man Ian Curtis. She would play Curtis's wife. Anton Corbijn is directing the film from a screenplay by Greenhalgh, which is itself based on the Deborah Curtis book Touching from a Distance. The movie will center on Curtis's struggle with his love for his wife vs. a new relationship with another woman. Additionally, he suffers from epilepsy and is consumed with performing with his band. Ultimately, Curtis committed suicide.
