Paramount greenlights Jackass sequel
Paramount has greenlit a sequel to Jackass: The Movie, hoping to have it set for release during the holiday season of 2006. The original film, featuring the antics of Johnny Knoxville and friends from his MTV show by the same name, grossed $65 million on a budget of $5 million in 2003. It was the studio's most profitable film of that year.
