Warner Bros. goes back in time
  
Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired Roland Emmerich's big-budget 10,000 B.C., which Sony had put in turnaround. The movie will be a tentpole in 2007 for the WB. The movie follows a 21-year-old who lives in a primitive tribe that survies by hunting a mammoth every year as they migrate through the tribe's home land.

Emmerich goes back to B.C.
  
Roland Emmerich is set to direct 10,000 B.C. for Columbia pictures. He co-wrote the drama along with composer Harald Kloser. The movie follows three stages in the development of primitive man. The story will focus on a 21-year-old who lives with a tribe that survives by hunting the woolly mammoth that migrate through their area each year.
