Williams goes to Museum
Robin Williams has signed on to play Theodore Roosevelt in Night at the Museum for 20th Century Fox. The movie is directed by Shawn Levy and is a big budget, CGI/live-action comedy. Ben Stiller stars as a night watchman at a museum of natural history. He discovers that its exhibits come to life in the evening, thanks to a spell cast by a pharaoh's tablet. Along with Stiller and Williams, other cast members include Carla Gugino, Kim Raver, Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke and Bill Cobbs.

Rooney and Van Dyke go to Museum
Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dyke will return to the movies this year as they play villains in the family tentpole Night at the Museum. Shawn Levy is directing for 20th Century Fox. Rooney and Van Dyke, along with Bill Cobbs, will portray security guards at the Museum of Natural Museum. They're on the same shift as night watchman Ben Stiller. Stiller finds a magical pharaoh's tablet, but Van Dyke is trying to get it in an effort to stay young. Van Dyke's last appearance in a feature film was 16 years ago, in 1990's Dick Tracy.

Raver goes to the Museum
Kim Raver will join the cast of Shawn Levy's Night at the Museum for 20th Century Fox. She'll star alongside Ben Stiller and Carla Gugino in the big budget comedy which is a combination of live action and CGI. The story centers on a sweet, clumsy security guard (Stiller) who works at a natural history museum. He accidentally sets off an ancient curse that allows the creatures on display in the museum to come to life.

Stiller goes for a Night out
Ben Stiller is set to star in 20th Century Fox's A Night at the Museum. The family comedy is planned for the 2006 holiday season and will have Stiller portraying a security guard at a museum of natural history. He accidentally lets loose a curse that brings all of the denizens of the place to life. Shawn Levy is directing from a screenplay by Scott Frank.

Stephen Sommers is set to direct A Night at the Museum for Fox. The movie is based on an action-comedy screenplay from Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant and has been rewritten by Scott Frank. The movie centers on an unlucky natural history museum guard who accidentally sets off an ancient jinx that causes the long-deceased denizens of the museum to come to life. Chaos reigns, of course.
