Voight and Davidovich see the Dawn
Jon Voight and Lolita Davidovich are set to star in the indie western September Dawn. Christopher Cain wrote the screenplay and is also directing and producing. The movie is a romance set in the 19th century. The tale's backdrop plays against a massacre of a wagon train of Utah settlers at the hands of a renegade Mormon group. Voight will play the leader of the Mormon group, and Davidovich will be a member of the wagon train. The movie is budgeted at around $11 million.
