Danes joins Flock

Claire Danes is set to star in The Flock for director Andrew Lau. She'll play alongside Richard Gere in the story of a federal agent who strongly believes in the power of being hypervigilant. Danes will play a trainee who is working under him. Together, they must work to find a missing girl who may be connected to a convicted sex offender. The screenplay was written by Hans Bauer and Craig Mitchell.

Gere gets a Flock

Richard Gere will star in The Flock, a $35 million-budgeted thriller. The film will be the English-language directorial debut of Hong Kong's Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs). The movie centers on a super-vigilant federal agent (Gere) who is training his own replacement - a young female. During this time, he has to track down a missing girl who he believes is connected to a sex offender he is investigating. The screenplay was written by Hans Bauer and Craig Mitchell.
