Cast signs up for Penelope
Catherine O'Hara, Peter Dinklage, James McAvoy and Richard E. Grant have signed on to star alongside Christina Ricci and Reese Witherspoon in the romantic tale Penelope. The film is being directed from Mark Palansky from a screenplay by Leslie Caveny. The film will center on a young woman who has to break her family curse to find true love. The curse? She's been given the face of a pig.

Christensen goes for Penelope
Hayden Christensen is in talks to join Christina Ricci in the Reese Witherspoon-produced Penelope. Mark Palansky is directing from a screenplay by Leslie Caveny. The story centers on a young woman who is born with the face of a pig. She has to break that curse, finding true love in the process.

Ricci is Penelope
Christina Ricci is set to star in the comedy Penelope, a movie that will be produced by Reese Witherspoon's Type-A Films. The movie is a modern-day tale about a woman under a curse who is trying to put an end to a lifelong streak of bad luck. Mark Palansky will make his feature directing debut from a screenplay by Leslie Caveny.
