Pearce up to Houdini tricks
Guy Pearce will star in the Houdini drama Death Defying Acts, a movie based on true events that took place during escape artist Harry Houdini's 1926 tour of Britain. The film will primarily focus on the magician's passionate relationship with a woman he met in Scotland. Rachel Weisz is in talks to play the mistress. Gillian Armstrong will direct the film from a screenplay by Tony Grisoni and Brian Ward.
