SPC gets rights to Sundance fave
Sony Pictures Classics has acquired distribution rights to Eugene Jarecki's Why We Fight, a movie that won the Grand Jury Prize for Documentaries at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The movie was inspired by Dwight D. Eisenhower's farewell speech where he coined the phrase "military industrial complex" and looks at America's reliance on the use of military might rather than diplomatic solutions.
