It's Christmas for Sony
After a fierce bidding war, Sony Pictures Classics has emerged with distribution rights in the U.S., the U.K., Italy and South America for the Christian Carion film Merry Christmas. The movie drew a substantial amount of attention after its out-of-competition screening at Cannes. The all-European cast includes Diane Kruger, Guillaume Canet, Danny Boon, Daniel Bruhl and Gary Lewis. The movie is Carion's second project.
