Weinsteins get Red Riding Hood
The newly formed WeinsteinCo has picked up the rights to the CGI animated comedy Hoodwinked! The True Story of Red Riding Hood. The classic fairy tale will be turned into a detective story in the film. The story follows a group of furry and feathered cops who are sent out to investigate a domestic disturbance at Granny's cottage. Red Riding Hood will have karate skills, Wolf will be a sarcastic sort, and Granny is a thrill-seeker.
