Aghdashloo has Dreamz
Shohreh Aghdashloo has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' American Dreamz. Paul Weitz is writing and directing the film, which also features Dennis Quaid, Marcia Gay Harden and Richard Dreyfuss. Aghdashloo will play a mother from Orange County in the political satire.

Harden has Dreamz
Marcia Gay Harden has joined the ensemble cast of director Paul Weitz's American Dreamz. The political satire will have Harden playing the First Lady to Dennis Quaid's president. Also in the cast are Hugh Grant, Richard Dreyfuss and Mandy Moore. Weitz also wrote the script. Universal Pictures will distribute.

Weitz has Dreamz
Paul Weitz is set to direct American Dreamz for Universal Pictures from a screenplay he wrote. He'll produce the film along with brother Chris. The movie will reunite the brothers with actors from their past projects, including Hugh Grant (About a Boy), Dennis Quaid (In Good Company) and Chris Klein (American Pie). Mandy Moore is also in talks to star. The movie will follow a number of characters taken from both politics and entertainment. Grant will play a disaffected television personality, with Quaid portraying a U.S. president who is going through a breakdown.
