Masterminds go to Korea
Korean animation studio DG Spot and its production company Morph have optioned Masterminds, a North American comic book property, to create as an animated feature.
Stan Lee is already set to do a voice in the film, which centers on five super villains who have only one thing standing between them and total global domination - each other. The story is told from the villain's point of view rather than being a superhero tale. The group includes the Maniacal Monocle, Doctor Pimento, CPU-571 - a giant robot, Vinnie DiThug, and Gorilla King. The comic was created by Aaron Sowd, James Denning and Lance Karutz.
