Stars set for Silence
Universal Pictures have set Amber Valletta and Ryan Kwanten to star in the horror film Silence. James Wan is directing from a screenplay he wrote with Leigh Whannell. The two previously collaborated on Saw, which found $55 million at the box office in North America. Kwanten will portray a man who journeys back to his hometown to try to uncover clues about his wife's murder. Valletta will play his father's trophy wife, a woman who might just have a lot more evil behind her than it seems.

Saw duo reunites in Silence
James Wan and Leigh Whannell will reunite for another horror film, as Universal Pictures has greenlit Silence and agreed to hire both of them to work on the project. The duo previously worked together on the emergent indie hit Saw, and as with that film, Wan will direct and Whannell will write the screenplay.
