Buzzington goes to the Hills
Ezra Buzzington (Art School Confidential) has signed on for a role in The Hills Have Eyes for Fox Searchlight. He will play Goggle, the watchdog for the hill people.

Cast has Eyes for Aja
A number of cast members have signed to star in Fox Searchlight's remake of the 1977 film The Hills Have Eyes. Aaron Stanford, Kathleen Quinlan, Ted Levine and Vinessa Shaw will star for director Alexandre Aja. The original film was written and directed by Wes Craven, who is producing the new version. The movie centers on a family on vacation who makes a wrong turn in a desert, finding themselves terrorized by the inhabitants with whom they come into contact.

The Hills Have Eyes...again
Fox Searchlight is set to remake Wes Craven's horror film The Hills Have Eyes. The original 1977 film focused on a family that was making a trip to a silver mine that they inherited, but upon their arrival, they are preyed upon by a band of psychotics.
The project was picked up in turnaround from Dimension Films. Alexandre Aja (Haute Tension) will direct from a screenplay he is working on with writing partner Gregory Levasseur.
