Cast gets 'Material'istic
Anjelica Huston, Brent Spiner and Lukas Haas have all joined the cast of Material Girls, which has sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff in the primary roles. Martha Coolidge is directing the comedy about two sisters who are heiresses to a cosmetics company. When they lose their fortune in a questionable scandal, they set about trying to figure out who set them up. Huston will play the owner of a rival cosmetics company, Spiner will play the CEO of their company, and Haas will play the head of a free legal clinic where they turn for help.

Duffs are Material Girls
Hilary and Haylie Duff will do their first motion picture together as they star in the teen comedy Material Girls. Martha Coolidge will direct from a screenplay by Amy Rardid and Jennifer O'Toole. The movie is based on the Madonna song, which Hilary Duff will remake for the film's soundtrack. The movie will center on two debutante cosmetics heiresses who lose their entire fortune in a corporate scandal. They determine that they will set out to find the culprit who committed the crime.
