Ejiofor goes Inside
Chiwetel Ejiofor (Dirty Pretty Things) has signed to play Denzel Washington's police partner in the Spike Lee drama The Inside Man. The movie will have a cop named Miller working with his partner, Mitchell (Ejiofor) to try to handle a tense hostage situation as they contend with a sly bank robber who has set out to pull the perfect heist. Clive Owen will portray the robber, and Jodie Foster will also star. Russell Gewirtz and Menno Meyjes wrote the screenplay.

Foster to find an Inside Man
Jodie Foster is set to join the cast of Universal's Inside Man, which is being directed by Spike Lee from a screenplay by Russell Gerwitz and Menno Mejyes. She'll join Denzel Washington and Clive Owen in the story about a cop who finds himself working against a smart bank robber who winds up in a hostage situation while trying to pull off an ideal heist. Foster will portray an attorney who is brought in to represent interests from behind the scenes.

Washington is Spike Lee's Inside Man
Denzel Washington is set to star in Inside Man for director Spike Lee and Universal Pictures. Clive Owen is also in talks to star in the film. The screenplay, which was written by Russell Gewirtz and Menno Mejyes, centers on a cop who faces off against a smart bank robber, whose plan to commit the ideal robbery falls apart so that it is a hostage situation.
