Howard and Giamatti line up for Lady in the Water
Just a couple of days after announcing his next project as Lady in the Water for Warner Bros., M. Night Shyamalan is in negotiations with Bryce Howard and Paul Giamatti to take the lead roles in the film. Howard, who starred in Shyamalan's last film The Village, would have the title character, while Giamatti would portray a building superintendent who discovers a sea nymph in the swimming pool at the apartment building where he works. The movie will have a July 2006 release.

Shyamalan has a Lady in the Water
M. Night Shyamalan's next project has been set up at Warner Bros. He'll write and direct Lady in the Water, a story about an apartment building superintendent who finds a rare sea nymph swimming in the apartment pool.
